Step 1

The Description of the Issue

We will need a brief description of the issue you are having with the system.

Note: We will also need to know if the salt system is connected to a timer to turn on and off every day.

Step 2

The Pools Chemistry

The next thing we will need is the pool chemistry.

  • Chlorine
  • Alkalinity
  • P.H
  • Cyneric acid/ Conditioner
  • Calcium
  • Salt
  • Phosphates
  • If you can test (Nitrates)

Note: For the best test results, use a liquid pool reagent test kit. These kits are the most accurate. Tests from a reputable pool store. Will work as well.

Step 3

The Readings Off the Box

The next thing we will need are the readings off the box. You will get these by starting with the first readout, pushing the diagnostic button and recording each readout

  • Average salt reading
  • Temperature
  • Volts
  • AMPs
  • The percentage system is being run at
  • Instant salt reading
  • Software revision
  • Cell type
  • Salt calibration

Note: If you adjust the percentage dial to 100% this will give us the readouts as if the system were creating chlorine. This will help us in diagnosing the issue

Step 4

The Photos Needed

This section will cover all the photos needed for a warranty claim.

Step 5

The Condition of the Pool

The First photo we will need is of the condition of the pool.

Note: We need to have this photo because if the pool has algae, it will keep the pool from holding chlorine.

Step 6

The Cell Placement

This will require a photo of the cell installation.

Step 7

 The Inside of the Cell

We will need two photos from both sides of the cell plates on the inside.

Step 8

The Cells Label

The last photo we need is of the label on the cell itself.

Step 9

Submitting the Pureline Salt Cell Claim

The last step would be submitting the Pureline salt cell claim. If you are working directly with a customer care representative, email them back the information and photos needed. If you are submitting it yourself, use upload@inyopools.com. If you are working with a care rep and don’t have an email to contact them with in the subject, add att to the rep’s name.

Note: Please add the order number or P.O. number that is on the box. All warranties are based on the original purchase.
