How to Wire the PureLine Easy Fit 1.65Hp for 115 Volts

The Easy Fit 1.65Hp makes a great addition to the PureLine pump family. When installing the new easy fit 1.65Hp, you will notice all the wiring is going to be from the top of the pump, which makes it easy to access. This guide is made to show step-by-step instructions on how to install the wires for 115V. This is for the Easy Fit VS 1.65Hp model.

Tools Needed:

  • ¼” nut driver
  • Needle-nose Pliers

Step 1

Remove the Drive Display

Using the ¼” nut driver, remove the 4 screws.

Step 2

Unplugging the Display from the Drive

Pull up the clip that connects the display communication wires to the drive. 

Note: Store the drive key pad in a space that won’t get in the way to keep from damaging it.

Step 3

Connecting the Conduit

Connect the conduit liquid-tight elbow to the pump and pull the wires through. 

Step 4

Prepping the Wires Ends

Using your Needle-nose pliers, make a candy cane shape bend in each wire.

Step 5

Connecting the Ground Wire

Using your ¼” nut driver, loosen the green ground screw and connect the green ground wire to it.

Step 6

Connecting the Power Wire

Using your ¼” nut driver, loosen the terminal marked L1. screw down to connect the power wire to this terminal.

Step 7

Connecting the Neutral Wire

Using your ¼” nut driver, loosen the terminal marked L2. Screw down to connect the neutral wire to this terminal.

Step 8

Plug in the Display

Plug the display back into the drive.

Step 9

Reinstall the Drive Display

Using the ¼” nut driver, tighten down the four screws to install the display to the drive.

Step 10

Turn the Motor on to Make Sure Everything Works.
