How to Wire the PureLine Easy Fit for 230v

The Easy Fit makes a great addition to the PureLine pump family. When installing the new easy fit, you will notice all the wiring is going to be from the top of the pump, which makes it easy to access. This guide is made to show step-by-step instructions on how to install the wires for 230V. This is for all Easy Fit VS models.

Tools Needed:

  • ¼” nut driver
  • Needle-nose Pliers

Step 1

Remove the Drive Display

Using the ¼” nut driver, remove the 4 screws.

Step 2

Unplugging the Display from the Drive

Pull up the clip that connects the display communication wires to the drive. 

Note: Store the drive in a space that won’t get in the way to keep from damaging it.

Step 3

 Connecting the Conduit

Connect the conduit liquid-tight elbow to the pump and pull the wires through. 

Step 4

Prepping the Wires Ends

Using your Needle-nose pliers, make a candy cane shape bend in each wire.

Step 5

Connecting the Ground Wires

Using your ¼” nut driver, loosen the green ground screw and connect the green ground wire to it.

Step 6

Connect the Power Wires

Using the ¼” nut driver, loosen the screws on terminals L1 and L2. Connect one wire to L1 and one to L2.

Note: It does not matter which wire is connected to L1 or L2; both should be 115V.

Step 7

Plug in the Display

Plug the display back into the drive.

Step 8

Reinstall the Motor Display/ Power Panel Cover

Using the ¼” nut driver, tighten down the four screws to install the display to the drive.
