How to Wire the Pureline Rapids PL2515, and the Titan PL2516 Pumps

The most important features of the Pureline Rapids and Titan pumps are their versatility and energy efficiency. The Rapids and Titan can be installed on most residential pools, increasing both water quality and lowering electricity costs. In this guide, we will show you how to wire the Pure Line Titan and Pure Line Rapids variable speed pump using 230 volts

Tools Needed:

  • Philips head screwdriver
  • Pliers
  • Flat head screwdriver

Supplies Needed:

  • Pure line rapids PL2515, or Titan PL2516 pump

Step 1

Remove the Power Box Cover

Undo the four screws from the power box using a philips head screwdriver.

Step 2

Connect the Wiring Harness

Step 3

Connect the Ground Wire

Make a candy cane shape, bend to the right, attach your ground wire using a Phillips head screwdriver to the green grounding screw.

Step 4

Connect the Voltage Wires

Using a Phillips head screwdriver, attach the voltage wires.

Note: There is no specific wire to line hook up. One wire to L1 and the other to L2.

Step 5

Reinstall the Power Box Cover

Using a Phillips head screwdriver, reinstall the power cover.

Step 6

 Install the Bounding Wire

Use a flathead screwdriver to install the bounding wire.

Step 7

Turn the Power On to the Motor.
