Okay, will do. The first thing you want to do before you start adding the chemicals is to balance the pH. You want to get your pH within a range of 7.4 to 7.6. Test it and add your pH up or pH minus. Once it’s balanced, the first chemical you want to add is the rust and scale preventer. You’ll add that to the pool and then wait about 30 minutes, let it circulate, and then you can shock the pool. Then what you want to do is run the pool overnight, and then the next morning, you can add the winter algaecide. From there, you can proceed with the rest of your closing.
